Friends to lovers, all you need to know about Kourtney Kardashian and Travis

We have all wished for a love story where we find the significant other in a friend. They understand you like no one else and there is a playful element in that equation as well. Seems like this Kardashian sister is having the time of her life dating Travis Barker, who she’s known for years.

US Weekly confirmed that the pair were dating after Barker had spent some time with Kardashian at her mom Kris Jenner’s Palm Springs, California home at the beginning of 2021. The insider said, “They have been close friends for years and have been dating for a couple of months. Travis is very smitten with Kourtney and has been for a while”.

Even before this news was out, Barker left flirty comments on Kourtney’s Instagram posts. He dropped cute emojis, reacting to her pictures, he wrote ” You’re So Cool” after she shared screenshots of the 1993 film True Romance. ( He has previously stated that it is his favorite movie and has also named his daughter after Patricia Arquette’s character, Alabama)

Their bond goes back several years. They were often spotted together and he has also made an appearance on the family’s long-running show Keeping up with The Kardashians, with his ex-wife.  He had also commented that how he was attracted to the mother of the three sisters. Since the pair both live in Calabasas, they would casually get together sometimes. “We would go out to eat, just hang out,” he said. “ I had a crush on her and we were flirtatious, but nothing ever happened,” he further added.

In October 2017, During an EntertainmentTonight interview with Barker and Alabama, his daughter spoke about bonding with the Kardashian family. “Actually, the other night I had dinner with all of them and they were really sweet,” she said, as the rocker added, “I told her she had a power dinner. … I told Alabama that was a really cool dinner to be a part of.”

In September 2018, there were rumors about them dating after they were seen leaving a restaurant together. They were also seen attending Hillsong’s evening church service together.

In November 2018, they dined together again.

In February 2019, things hastened up, and they stepped out for a night out in Malibu together.

However, it was in January 2021, that the rumors became more prominent after Barker dropped comments on her pictures and they posted shots of their view from Kris Jenner’s Palm Springs vacation home. Later, Us Daily confirmed it for us and in February, they spent their first Valentine’s Day together, actually spending it three days prior to the date and confirming the relationship by posting a picture of them holding hands!
