Not so long ago in 2014, she explained the reason why she chose to go with the wigs/extensions and not her natural hair. She mentioned in a Facebook post, “Since people give me such a hard time about my hair I thought id take the time to explain the whole situation to everybody,” she added, “I had to bleach my hair and dye it red every other week for the first four years of plating Cat… (In Sam & Cat) as one would assume that completely destroyed my hair.”
