Grey’s Anatomy Season 20: Speculated release date, castand what to expect
Grey’s Anatomy is now the network’s longest-running primetime scripted series after ABC approved a 20th season. At the start of a new season, the medical drama will also page in a new showrunner after executive producer Meg Marinis took over for Krista Vernoff.
From the third season, Marinis has contributed to the drama series, which has seen a lot of twists and turns. She began as a production assistant for a writer and worked her way up the ranks, acting as executive producer for the previous four seasons. Marinis has had a variety of jobs during the course of the show, and she has also authored several episodes. Following the Grey’s Anatomy Season 19 finale, Vernoff will step down, and Marinis will formally take over as showrunner for the 2023–2024 season.
Grey’s Anatomy focuses on five surgical interns and their supervisors as it chronicles the personal and professional lives of a medical staff team. Grey’s Anatomy Season 20: Who might be in the cast?
At this moment of writing, there is no official notice about the cast list of the upcoming season of Grey’s Anatomy. However, as usual, we expect most of the series regulars and main characters to star in the next season as well. With the on-screen departure of Pompeo, who continues to function as the show’s narrator and executive producer, the current season of the show introduces a new class of medical interns. Kim Raver, whose request for a season 20 was granted, plays Dr. Teddy Altman in the most recent season. Harry Shum Jr., Adelaide Kane, Niko Terho, Alexis Floyd, and Midori Francis from Glee are just a few of the new interns that Grey Sloan Memorial is welcoming as it restarts its residency program. While fans say their heartfelt farewell to some of their favorite characters throughout the years, the cast has evolved. Chandra Wilson, who plays Dr. Miranda Bailey, and James Pickens Jr., who plays Dr. Richard Webber, are the only two surviving original cast members.

According to the reports, ABC broadcasts Grey’s Anatomy on Thursday nights. The end of Season 19 is scheduled for April 13, 2023, however Season 20 of the show has already been confirmed, so there won’t be much time to wait.
