Rockstar Games has released a trailer confirming the 2025 release date for the much-anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6). The trailer, which leaked early on social media, provides a sneak peek at new characters, game design, and next-generation graphics.
Set to launch in 2025, GTA 6 takes players back to Vice City, first introduced in GTA Vice City. The game introduces Lucia, the series’ first female protagonist, who is seen getting into trouble with the law. She is joined by a male protagonist speculated to be her brother. Together, they are seen escaping police and pulling off criminal acts.

While story details remain slim, the trailer showcases Vice City’s flashy excesses and criminal undertones. It also reveals improved graphics with more realistic and richly detailed visuals. Fan excitement is already high following the trailer’s December 5th debut at 6AM PT/9PM ET.
