HAIM’s new remix ‘Gasoline’ features Taylor Swift

HAIM recently shared a new version of their Women in Music Pt III song Gasoline. The new remix features Taylor Swift.

HAIM and Swift had earlier collaborated on Swift’s latest album Evermore track “No Body, No Crime”.

The band took to Instagram to share a statement about the new takes. On working with Taylor Swift, they wrote, “when we were thinking about ways to reimagine some of the tracks from the record, we immediately thought of her. she brought such amazing ideas and new imagery to the song and truly gave it a new life.”

Taylor Swift also spoke about the collaboration on her social media. She wrote, “Cancel the DNA test I’m the 4th Haim sister and this song is the only proof I need” with the hashtag #GasolineRemix.

HAIM and Swift, who are collaborators, are also competitors at the 2021 Grammy Awards. Both Women in Music Pt. III and folklore are nominated for the “Album of the Year” award.
