Jack Hanna has made several appearances which are memorable and cherished by all for time immemorial, most of them in David Letterman’s show where he appeared more than 100 times .

July 1987, DAVID LETTERMAN

David introduced Hanna in a special way saying that Hanna was the reason he had to hold strange creatures.  David brought Tigers, a scorpion with it’s baby on it’s head on the stage and even threw a fish in his fountain! He had small green snakes spread around on David’s desk and whistled to get them all together.

December 1988,DAVID LETTERMAN

This was the time when Hanna brought a beaver on the stage and it bit Hanna’s hand! Jack felt uneasy and felt like he lasted for 90 seconds when a card came up stating that Hanna had been severely bitten and the show took a break. Hanna had his hand surgery done in Columbus.

May 2013,DAVID LETTERMAN

This was Hanna’s most viewed video with David where he brought a black Jaguar on David’s desk this time along with a penguin, baby birds, a sandhill crane, a lynx and the Asian water monitor. He wanted people to know that it was world’s second largest lizard in the world.

April 2015, DAVID LETTERMAN

This began with a guessing game to guess how many times Hanna appeared on David’s show in 30 years. Hanna brought a wolverine this time and described quite a few facts about it. This was his final appearance where he also brought leopards, hyenas, a Kookaburra on stage.

1955, LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN: GOT MILK?

In this episode, Hanna brings up Celebes Apes and a condor who jumps on David’s desk, flapping it’s wings and things get messier when David tries feeding the big cat some milk, squirting it all over himself.

2004,THE MAURY SHOW: JACK HANNA’S JUNGLE HOLIDAY 

Maury Povich is introduced to alligators of various shapes and sizes by Hanna along with some other guests, including a Macaw, kinkajou, vulture, owl, clouded leopard, and groundhog.

2007,LARRY KING LIVE: HAPPY ZOO YEAR 

Hanna visited Larry along with his kid Chance, who’s smile turned into a terror on seeing a toad suddenly hop around him. Hanna calmed him down with a great high-five!

2016,THE LATE LATE SHOW WITH JAMES CORDEN: SMELL THE FLOWERS

On this appearance, Hanna brought some flowers for his friend Betty White but with some nasty creatures crawling within them. James seems to have a not so-good time, handling a vulture.

2018, THE LATE LATE SHOW WITH JAMES CORDEN: GET OTTER HERE 

Jeff Goldblum and Marlon Waynes were the guests who were terrified being surrounded by animals. Waynes jumps to his desk upon seeing the Otter while also trying to pet it gently.

2019, CUTENESS EXPLOSION ON GOOD MORNING AMERICA

This is Hanna’s last appearance  wherein he brings in a Kangaroo. Michael Strahan can be seen cradling the kangaroo which is call for an emotional and a heart-felt sight.
