Actor Kal Penn ‘Harold & Kumar’ alum served off and on in the Barack Obama administration. He was an associate director in the White House Office of Public Engagement. He served from 2009 to 2011.

Al Franken

Al Franken was a writer, performer on “Saturday Night Live” and then a political talk show host. Later on, he joined politics and became a Democratic senator for Minnesota in 2009 before announcing his resignation in 2017 over allegations of sexual harassment.
