Shanna Moakler is an American model, actress and a reality star, born on March 28, 1975, in Providence, Rhode Island, to parents John and Gail Moakler.

She rose to international recognition as a model, after winning the USA Miss New York pageant in 1995 and emerging as the first runner up for Miss USA in the same year.

Shanna, 46, has been recently making headlines while calling out Kourtney Kardashian for spoiling her family with ex husband.

The model had reacted to Travis Barker and Kourtney’s Instagram PDA, accusing the latter of destroying her relationship with her kids, Landon Asher and Alabama Luella whom she shares with Barker.

Shanna’s relationship with Travis Barker

Shanna had been married to musician, drummer, Travis Barker in 2004, after dating for a couple of years. The wedding was inspired by ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’ in a gothic style.

It sounds funny to know that Barker went on his knees to propose Shanna in the haunted mansion ride at Disneyland.

After years of tiffs and tussles, and rekindling their romance a couple of times, the duo finally decided for divorce in 2008 and parted ways in 2009.

According to Shanna, their kids, Landon, 17, and Alabama, 15, were being co parented very well during quarantine.

It seems that the model didn’t take ex’s relationship with Kourtney well, and tried to shade Travis by liking a troll’s comment that said, “Shhhhiiiii that broad don’t got nothin’ on you. Travis downgraded big time”, posted below the Instagram post of the couple’s PDA.

It is surprising to know that Travis and Shanna’s kids would play with Kourtney and Scott’s kids back when Moakler and Barker were still a couple and shared such a close bond, that the duo even made appearances during the initial days of ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’.

Shanna’s dating history

Before Travis came into her life, Shanna has dated a bunch of popular men from the industry, and currently, after her split, she is dating someone too.

She was engaged to heavyweight boxer Oscar De La Hoya in 1988 and they share a daughter named Atiana Cecilia De La Hoya, 21, born in 1989. The couple split as Shanna caught Oscar cheating on her with a woman at the Latin Grammy Awards show.

Shanna has also dated the very famous British-American musician Billy Idol, in 1994, and the duo parted ways after a couple of years.

She began dating Jordan Knight in 1966 and the relationship lasted only for a year, after which she romanced Dennis Quaid in 2001.

Post her split with Travis in 2008, Shanna was in a couple more relationships with Gerard Butler and Bryan Sollima.

Shanna’s success as a model and actor

After winning the USA pageant in 1995, Shanna entered the world of television with a minor role in ‘Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman’.

She starred in the series ‘Pacific Blue’ in 1998, before going ahead with a few more small roles in shows named, ‘Entourage’, ‘Joey’, and ‘CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’.

Shanna is currently in a relationship with model friend Matthew Rondeau, and they are a couple since May 2020.
