Here’s why ‘The Dark Knight’ is trending on Twitter

There’s the whole Avengers series, there’s Batman, Superman, Deadpool, Spider-Man, Justice League, and so on! The list seems to be never-ending as these movies inspired by their comic book counterparts have surged in numbers over the past decade. One might think that would reduce the charm of skimming through glossy comic pages but that is most definitely not so! Fans often hold different favorites in terms of the hardcopies and the visual treat a film can offer and something of that sort sparked off this debate (more or less) on Twitter today!

Netizens rushed to tweet about their “Mount Rushmore of Comic Book Movies” …basically their top 4 and with a huge mass voting forΒ The Dark Knight,Β it started to trend on Twitter at No.5 in no time! Some even went ahead to call it the best movie and bestowed the honor of the best villain upon Joker played by Heath Ledger, often chiding those who placed any other recent movie above it.
