Ibram X. Kendi all set to enter the podcast world with new series ‘Be Antiracist’
Famous and respected author of the book ‘How to be an Antiracist’, Ibram X. Kendi is now all set to enter the world of podcasts.
Ibram is soon going to be a part of a podcast series called ‘Be Antiracist’, in co-operation with iHeartMedia and Pushkin industries.
The show will take place in a weekly interview format which will provide us with a window through which we will be able to get sight of how an anti-racist society will look like. This podcast will be based on the historian, author and founder of the anti-racist department of Boston university’s research and experiences.
With this, it will be the first time that Gladwell’s Pushkin industries and iHeartMedia are collaborating. It’s a 2-year contract between two firms and the rights of the podcast will be transferred to other presenters by iHeartMedia itself.
As per the reports of Deadline, Ibram, for his ew venture and show said, “After a year that laid bare the pervasive racial inequity that continues to plague our nation, we must continue the difficult but necessary conversations that will allow us to imagine and erect a truly antiracist society.” He is very excited and is looking forward to the project. On the very same he added, “I look forward to exploring these topics with guests whose work I deeply admire and digging deep with them and with listeners.”
