Inner Magnolia is all set to pick clues from locals on crypto mining

The agency- Inner Magnolia Development and Reform Commission (DRC) announced in March that all crypto mining companies had to cease their operations in the area. Their vision is to bring the carbon emission metrics at par with the goal set by the National Development Reform (NDRC) and eventually help reduce national energy consumption per GDP by 15% of the previous time period.

Inner Magnolia, according to a government review, had not been able to accomplish its yearly goal by the end of 2019. The agency has now taken to its task with even more gusto and has created a hotline for this very purpose. Now, if the locals in their area suspect any activity that suggests crypto mining, they can inform them through emails.
