Jinger Vuolo breaks her silence on brother Josh Duggar’s child pornography case
19 kids and Counting fame, Josh Duggar, was arrested on Thursday on the charges of child pornography. He was presented for a virtual case hearing at the Western District of Arkansas represented by attorney Travis W. Story.
Josh is charged with the case on the basis of using, the internet to download child sexual abuse material. Duggar allegedly possessed this material, some of which depicts the sexual abuse of children under the age of 12, in May 2019, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office states reports.
Josh’s Parents had released a statement on Friday saying, they are shocked to hear the news and they pray for him and his family. They also added, “It is our prayer that the truth, no matter what it is, will come to light, and that this will all be resolved in a timely manner.”
Now, his sister Jinger Vuolo and her husband have broken silence and talked in favor of him. “We are disturbed to hear of the charges against Josh. While this case must go through the legal system, we want to make it clear that we absolutely condemn any form of child abuse and fully support the authorities and judicial process in their pursuit of justice,” they said.

If found guilty, Josh shall face Ā 20 years of imprisonment and fines up to $250,000 on each offense.
His attorney has pleaded not guilty to both offenses.
The trial date was fixed to be on July 6th with a pre-trial hearing on July 1st.
