Justin Bieber on his marriage to Hailey Baldwin: “1st year was really tough due to lack of trust”

Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber surprised us all with their engagement and subsequent marriage in 2018 which was all a hush-hush affair!

The popstar has now opened up about his marriage and made a few revelations making us realize that things were not so perfect as people imagined it to be.

In his GQ Cover Story, On April 13, Justin revealed that the first year of marriage was really difficult and traumatizing as there was a lack of trust.

Justin said, “There was all these things that you don’t want to admit to the person that you’re with, because it’s scary. You don’t want to scare them off by saying, ‘I’m scared.”

The ‘Baby’ hitmaker and model Hailey Baldwin got engaged in July 2018. This was a few weeks after the duo got back together after their brief romancing period before.

The engagement took place just 3 three months after Justin’s on and off relationship with Selena and our adorable ‘Jelena’ came to an end.

The wedding took place at a New York City Courthouse on September 2018. It was a close family affair. A year later, the Biebers had a grand ceremony in South Carolina.

Bieber told GQ, “I just felt like that was my calling. Just to get married and have babies and do that whole thing. My wife is not ready to have kids this second, but … eventually.”

Justin also confessed that he had an unstable family life before his marriage to Hailey. He further said that his previous relationships have also been upsetting and disturbing to him. He and Hailey are building memories as a couple and as a family which earlier he didn’t have to look forward to.

Justin didn’t have somebody significant, somebody to love and somebody to pour his emotions into.

Justin and Hailey have been constantly growing together, improving flaws and complexities of their relationship and falling in love with each other everyday and we are super proud!
