Kamala Harris tweets, “tackling climate change, improving communities, and creating jobs can occur simultaneously”

President Biden’s administration is giving priorities to climate change and is committed to doing so using scientific techniques. But there are other matters which need equal attention, such as employment.

Vice President, Kamala Harris, tweeted, “we believe that tackling climate change, improving communities, and improving jobs can occur simultaneously.”

In order to tackle climate change, Biden has the vision to turn American buses into electric buses. This includes the 475,000 school buses and 65,000 transit buses. For America to cut carbon emission by half, every American has to change the car they are driving.

The White House expects that this move or step will not only tackle the climate change, but will  also help create employment among the Americans.

It is also important for the government to focus on improving the communities which have experienced the worst due to climate change, including the indigenous communities.

Earlier today, President Biden had tweeted, “When I think of climate change, I think about jobs.”

As a result of pandemic, hundreds of thousands of Americans have lost their jobs. To get the economy back on track, Biden has proposed American Jobs Plan. It seems like the jobs plan will work simultaneously with dealing the climate change.
