McPhee married David Foster on June 28, 2019. David Foster is a Canadian musician, composer, arranger, record producer, and music executive who has won 16 Grammy Awards. The two are the parents of a four-month-old boy named Rennie David Foster who was born on February 22, 2021.

On Monday, June 28, the actress and singer shared a photo with her son while sitting in a pool. She was wearing a black swimsuit drinking a beer while Rennie was sitting in an inflatable pool toy. Along with the picture, she wrote a caption, “Mommy & me”. In the comments, many fans wished her a happy anniversary paying anniversary to the fact that she has been married to David Foster for 2 years.
