Kelly Donohue replies to racist accusations
Jeopardy contestant Kelly Donohue denies accusation of using racist signals on the stage.
Yesterday, in a letter written to the medium 467 people who claimed themselves as the show’s contestant demanded an apology from shows producers for not catching Kelly’s hand gesture which portrays white supremacy.
They say that Kelly “held his thumb and forefinger together with his other three fingers extended and palm facing inward, and he tapped his cheat.”
But Kelly denied these accusations in his Facebook post and condemned racists and racism. He said that he simply wanted to show that he has won the third time.
He wrote, “I’m truly horrified with what has been posted about me on social media I absolutely unequivocally condemn white supremacy and racism of any kind .people who know me personally know that I am not a racist but for the public at large it bears repeating: I am not a racist and I reject and condemn white supremacy and all forms of bigotry for the evil they are “he also said that it’s ” shameful think anyone would try to use the stage of jeopardy to advance and promote such a disgusting agenda.”
He also wrote “I deeply regret this terrible misunderstanding I never meant to hurt a soul and I assure you I am no friend of racists or white supremacists.”
