Kid Cudi pays tribute to Kurt Cobain and Chris Farley with bold fashion on SNL
Rapper Kid Cudi paid tribute to late celebrities Chris Farley and Kurt Cobain during his performances as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live this weekend.
The 37-year-old artist wore a T-shirt with Farley’s face on it and a pea-green cardigan when he sang “Tequila Shots.” He also rocked a floral sundress that resembled the pattern of a dress that Cobain famously wore on the cover of the British magazine, The Face in 1993. And performed his song “Sad People” while wearing the dress.

Cudi also paid homage to Farley, an SNL player from 1990 to 1995, who died of a drug overdose in 1997 at the age of 33.
The musician wore the former SNL star’s face on a T-shirt under his green cardigan on Saturday.
During his band Nirvana’s MTV Unplugged concert in 1993, Cobain wore a similar sweater to the one Cudi sported on SNL.
Social media is buzzing after Kid Cudi paid tribute to Kurt Cobain and Chris Farley on Saturday, April 10, episode Saturday Night Live. “Kid Cudi’s clothing in both of his SNL performances tonight was wearing to pay tribute to two people who struggled their whole lives with depression and who ultimately succumbed to suicide and drug abuse: Chris Farley and Kurt Cobain.”
