Lauren Jauregui shares a beautiful message on her Instagram

Lauren Jauregui took to her Instagram today sharing a beautiful message where she talks about humanity and equality! Her caption is “gold” . She shares her experience about the George’s family.
She wrote a beautiful caption; check it out:

“Human being.
Human.
Not a counterfeit bill.
Not a threat to armed men.
Not a threat.
Not just the color of his skin.
Human.
A human being.
With a beating heart.
And a family.
And a right to life.

Who didn’t deserve to die execution style.
This legal system will display pain, re-traumatization, blatant racism, deep arrogance and willful ignorance to the truth and put it on trial for the same bullshit ass outcome we all know is unfair. The exhaustion? The spiritual and mental exhaustion of watching shit like this not only happen over and over again, but also be exploited over and over again…like completely exploited to the point that these same people who allowed and excused his murder could write a whole bill in his name and pay themselves millions of dollars type exploited…like there will probably be documentaries and all these think pieces and all these people who use his name. And Breonna’s name. And Tamir’s name. And Ahmad’s name.

And Philando’s name. And Sandra’s name. Just…all of their names…to keep doing it and adding to the list. The cognitive dissonance of this publicized trial and the shootings in salons and schools and homes and back yards and over wallets and toy guns and cellphones…and “counterfeit money”. It’s just fucking insane honestly. And I promise that money they printed to bail Wall Street out in 2008 wasn’t considered “counterfeit” and certainly no one in a suit died under anyone’s fucking knee. Uniformed or not. This is about fucking humanity bro. Cut the bullshit. We really need to stop using people’s pain as entertainment and debate of worth topics and start really imagining a whole other kind of system. Abolition. Abolish all of the systems that profit off of the exploitation of people and their pain.

Sending love to George’s family…i can’t even imagine the pain of having to sit through the slander and reliving of grief over and over again. We should be ashamed of ourselves.”
