Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to lose their Royal Roles soon
We were all ecstatic after the news of the Royal couple’s second baby came and their picture was released……living in the moment, in total bliss! However, they’re soon about to be engaged in some pressing royal matters involving their decision to step back as senior royals.
According to People, they will “likely” be losing their royal patronages by as early as next month. These are appointed by the Queen herself. Prince Harry may probably lose his honorary military appointments as well.
People‘s report said Harry will have to relinquish the Rugby Football Union, the Rugby Football League, and the London Marathon as his patronage. Meghan, too, will have to give up the National Theatre.
The decision wasn’t supposed to happen until March 31, that is, when their probation period. But instead, a source told People these decisions will be made sooner, with no final decisions confirmed as of yet.
But, they will still be able to keep their Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles. They haven’t yet released their statement on this matter.
Well, it might just be good, as with the baby coming, they have something positive to look forward to and hold on to.
