Meghan Markle files a legal suit against Piers Morgan

Piers Morgan, the host of the Good Morning Britain show left his job as a Broadcaster after getting into a feud with the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle.

After the interview of the royal couple with the US chat show host Oprah Winfrey, Morgan went on to attack the Duchess criticizing her claims that she made on the British Royal family during the interview.

Following the event, Meghan filed a formal complaint against the ITV host demanding quick action on the criticism made against the couple.

According to the Press Association of the British news agency,  the Duchess of Sussex first filed a complaint to the broadcasting unit. The comments made by Morgan stating the claims of depression and racism faced by the Duchess are false, made the British broadcasting unit receive above 41,000 complaints. Due to which the former CNN host had to resign from his post.

Meghan added to the statement that the criticism may affect those people who are struggling with depression in their own lives.
