Navia Benefit Solutions Provides Notice of Data Event
RENTON, Washington – March 13, 2026 – Navia Benefit Solutions, Inc. (“Navia”) is providing notice of an event to customers and certain individuals. Although Navia is not aware of any identity theft or fraud in relation to the event, they are notifying customers and individuals involved in order to provide them with information about what happened, the response, and additional measures individuals can take to help protect their information, should they feel it appropriate to do so.
On January 23, 2026, Navia discovered suspicious activity related to its environment. Navia promptly responded and launched an investigation to confirm the nature and scope of the incident. The investigation determined that an unauthorized actor accessed and potentially acquired certain information between December 22, 2025 and January 15, 2026. Navia conducted a thorough review of the activity to determine which individuals may have been impacted by this event. The investigation and review identified that the event involved name, date of birth, Social Security number, phone number, email address, and health plan information for impacted individuals. Where potentially impacted, health plan refers only to participation in Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs), Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs), or Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA). Additionally, potentially impacted data points are limited to items such as termination date and election date. No claims or financial data were disclosed.
Navia’s investigation and response included confirming the security of its systems, reviewing the contents of relevant data for sensitive information, and notifying potentially impacted individuals via letter to their home address where address information was available. While Navia has measures in place to protect information in its care, as part of its ongoing commitment to the privacy of information, Navia continues to review its policies, procedures and processes related to the storage and access of personal information to reduce the likelihood of a similar future event. Navia notified federal law enforcement and will also notify applicable regulatory authorities as necessary.
