New Hair color and a return to the ramp! Here’s what Gigi Hadid is up to

The strong-willed Beth from The Queen’s Gambit might have been phenomenal at Chess, but she accomplished that all while setting fashion goals for us! Her costumes were gorgeous but it was her hair that stole the show!

In the months following the premiere of the Netflix original, a lot of girls have died their hair the gingery red like Beth! And Gigi Hadid is the latest to join the bandwagon and how! We think she might have just set another trend unknowingly, of ginger red long hair!

In a series of Instagram stories, she shared the process of getting her hair dyed to that color. Hadid showed off the glossy, gorgeous end result.

“She is dedicated to everyone responsible for The Queen’s Gambit,” she wrote. She added another picture with a chili pepper emoji, her new hair all tied up in a ponytail with a scrunchie and we cannot keep our eyes off her!

It’s been six months since Hadid gave birth to her daughter Khai with singer Zayn Malik, the couple’s first. She had shared her little family’s pictures recently. However, Gigi is ready to rock on the ramp again as she walked for Versace’s Fall 2021. The new collection is confident and slightly rebellious with an emphasis on the brand’s iconic Greca motif, subtle graffiti details, and a smaller, rounded silhouette for womenswear.

“I have realized that this is the future, the new way of communicating collections,” Donatella Versace said in a press statement about the industry’s move toward digital fashion weeks. “Models are like actors, they bring the designs to life, just like when a performer portrays a character. During the filming of this show, I saw how important it is to give the models time to ‘feel’ the clothes they wear on the runway. Despite living in a digital era of immediacy, taking this time is crucial to form a genuine connection. This is what the present and future look like to me.”

Well, one thing is for sure, Gigi Hadid is having a very happening life!
