Earlier on Tuesday, Harris also participated in a roundtable discussion regarding the investments in research and development proposed in President Joe Biden’s infrastructure jobs plan.

President Biden left for his visit to the Gulf Coast state of Louisiana on Thursday.

Biden will also visit the city of New Orleans on this visit and pitch his ambitious infrastructure development plans.

Earlier on Tuesday, Harris also participated in a roundtable discussion regarding the investments in research and development proposed in President Joe Biden’s infrastructure jobs plan.  She was joined by Democratic U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin, Congresswoman Gwen Moore, university and business leaders, researchers, teachers, administrators among others.

The Vice President’s visit comes at a time when the Biden administration is gearing to ramp up the American Jobs Plan, an extensive $2.3 trillion development package that aims to improve the country’s aging infrastructure, combating climate change, and creating jobs.

This is Harris’s first trip to Wisconsin after joining the office in January.
