The Royal Family released a couple of pictures about the same, by posting on their official Instagram handle.

The pictures show the Duke at the War Graves, honoured with “Their Name Liveth For Evermore”.

The Duke of Edward, paid his respects to the 5000 commemorated brave soldiers, who sacrificed their lives, fighting for the country during the First and Second World Wars.

A wreath was laid by the president of the ‘Commonwealth War Graves’, at the Stone of Remembrance, at a part of the cemetery in Canada.

Being the largest of it’s kind, the cemetery has war graves, that are mostly a part of Canadian service personnel, with several maple trees planted near and around.

His Royal Highness, had a brief rendezvous with the war graves’ keepers, including the gardeners and volunteers, who all work collectively in order to maintain the serenity and divinity of the place, so as to be visited by future generations.

The Duke also proceeded with the inauguration of the Commonwealth Story Exhibition, reopening the memories in honour of the commemorated soldiers, which had been closed due to the pandemic.
