John Travolta wishes late son Jett on his 29th birthday; Expresses how much he misses him

John Travolta through his Instagram post, wished his late son Jett on ‘what would have been’ his 29th birthday, sending love and honor. Jett passed away in 2009, suffering from seizures due to Kawasaki disease during the family’s vacation at Bahamas.

John posted an adorable black and white photo of him with his son Jett captioning it as, “Happy birthday my beautiful Jetty. I love you.”

Jett can be seen smiling beautifully while his dad John looks at him with love. The post is of the time when he was 16.

“You know, you plan on a life that’s a lot longer for your child and you always intend to go first. So, that’s the difference. Regardless of the full life we did live together, you know, you wanted a full life for him”, John said in his 2015 interview with ET.

John says that wishing his son even after his death has been a tradition. On Jett’s 28th birthday, last year, John had posted a similar black and White photo of him and his son Captioning it as, “Happy Birthday Jetty! We love you!”

Jett’s mother and John’s late wife Kelly Preston had also posted an adorable picture of her hugging young Jett and captioned it as, “Happy Birthday to our sweetest Jetty, we love you!!”

Kelly Preston was suffering from breast cancer and lost her life while battling it in July 2020.
