To add to the ongoing drama, the Avenger–Marvel’s social channels  confirmed it by changing Sam Wilson’s official Twitter handle to  “Cap”.

Before this,the Captain America official account’s header had art from “Avengers: Endgame” with a bio, “Just a kid from Brooklyn” and a Steve Rogers profile picture.

Now the profile picture has been changed to that of a shield along with a banner with Sam Wilson in his new suit.It features the words “on your left” in the bio, the very first words Sam said when he met Steve in “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” seven years ago.

In “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” the finale showed Sam taking the shield and meeting his destiny as the new Captain America.
