As expected, the new Captain will have to get compared to the old Captain America, Steve Rogers.

To add to the ongoing drama, the Avenger–Marvel’s social channels  confirmed it by changing Sam Wilson’s official Twitter handle to  “Cap”.

Before this,the Captain America official account’s header had art from “Avengers: Endgame” with a bio, “Just a kid from Brooklyn” and a Steve Rogers profile picture.

Now the profile picture has been changed to that of a shield along with a banner with Sam Wilson in his new suit.It features the words “on your left” in the bio, the very first words Sam said when he met Steve in “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” seven years ago.

In “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” the finale showed Sam taking the shield and meeting his destiny as the new Captain America.

In its very second week, it has already become the most watched original streaming series with regard to the total viewing time.The Disney+ show completed its 628 million minutes of watch time in the week of March 22-28, ranking third among all titles on Disney+, Hulu, Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.

Fans are specifically in awe of Sam, the new Captain America’s big speech after the defeat of the Flag Smashers, especially as his was the most conflicted character in the miniseries.

“It’s not the Power Broker who’s the real enemy, but the politicians. Their insensitivity to resetting borders is what makes anti-government groups like the Flag Smashers rise, not to mention their hasty decisions can have the same negative impact on the world as Thanos snapping his fingers.”

“People believed in her (Karli’s) cause so much, they helped her defy the strongest governments in the world,” Sam reprimands them. “You people have as much power as an insane god or misguided teenager. The question you have to ask yourself is, how are you going to use it.”

“You have to stop calling them terrorists,” Sam added  “Your peacekeeping troops carrying weapons are forcing millions of people into settlements around the world, right? What do you think those people are going to call you? These labels ‘terrorists’, ‘refugee’, ‘thug’, they’re often used to get around the question, why?”

“The only power that I have is that we can do better. We can’t demand that people step up if we don’t meet them halfway,” says Sam.

While the Marvel fans are still under the fever of the previous episode, the latest episode of the Falcon and the Winter soldier is more impactful and happening than ever. While the hunt of Bucky, Zemo, and Sam take them places hunting down the world bad guys.

But a particular set of scenes threw the Marvel fandom into a debate acknowledging a basic need of survival for the heroes.

In the first episode, we came to know about the family of The Falcon aka Sam, and how his family managed to run their life post “blip.” The most disturbing question that gained the attention of the fans is the financial state of the Avenger who fought to save the world from Thanos in Avenger: Endgame.

As per our knowledge, Marvel never acknowledged the financial status of the Avengers apart from the great Tony Stark aka Iron Man of the Stark Industries. But what about others?

A scene where Sam and his sister go down to the bank asking for a loan to support their family business gave out a lot on how much it cost financially for being a superhero. When asked by the banker “you should be paid well right” to sam and his hesitated reaction, yes with fame and people’s love made people wonder about how they would have been leading their lives. Savings maybe!
