Noel Clarke in his statement said that he will seek professional help to “change for the better”.
Finally, Noel Clarke made peace with the fact that he was accused of sexual harrasment by 20 women and considered of seeking professional help to “change the better” in a statement on Friday.
After vehemently denying the accusations, the British actor-director said to Fox News, “Recent reports, however, have made it clear to me that some of my actions have affected people in ways I did not intend or realize,” he said in a statement. “To those individuals, I am deeply sorry. I will be seeking professional help to educate myself and change for the better.”
The “Doctor Who” star made the statement after The Guardian officially said that it’d spoken to 20 women and named several of them. They alleged Clark of inappropriate touching , harassment, bullying and sexually improper activities.
Britain’s motion picture academy issued a suspension to Clark’s membership and withdrew the award for outstanding British contribution to cinema that was handed to him this month, “immediately and until further notice.”
