David Petersen contestant who lost recently huge amount of money on the show “Wheel of Fortune” due to a technical error
Petersen was caught in a trap in which another contestant was even caught in 2019, During the crossword puzzle section of the show, which was presented in 2016, contenders are cautioned not to add any word but rather the four it takes to settle the riddle when they answer.
“I asked Pat [Sajak] to solve it. And I went to solve the puzzle, of course, he says every time, ‘Do not add anything.’ Well, he says this, you hear it, but the number one thing I’m focused on is pronouncing the words correctly,” Petersen told Fox News over the phone.
Petersen explains that he got a different experience in ” Wheel of Fortune’ but he admits that how anyone could make such a mistake even after being warned on On-air.
It’s such a natural part of the English syntax that we use. Our high school teachers have taught us and even our elementary school teachers taught us to put the word ‘and’ in between the last two items of a list of items,” he added. “You literally have to voluntarily turn off that English language syntax that we’ve been trained in for years.” he added
