Prince Charles’ video on late father brings an emotional deluge

In a very sentimental video message that came hours after Buckingham Palace announced plans for the late Royal’s funeral, Prince Charles contemplated over the personal loss of his father, Prince Philip.

“I particularly wanted to say that my father, for I suppose the last 70 years, has given the most remarkable, devoted service to The Queen, to my family and to the country, but also to the whole of the Commonwealth,” the Prince of Wales, 72, said in the message.

To the close of the message, Charles shared how touched his father would be to know the outpouring love from all across the globe.

The ceremonial royal funeral would take place on April 17 at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, keeping the country’s Covid 19 guidelines in account.

Philip died on the anniversary of Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla.
