In the podcast, he talked about his movie Once Upon A Time in Hollywood and how he almost cast the role of Squeaky to Jennifer Lawrence. Squeaky was played by
Dakota Fanning and the character was an American criminal who was a member of a cult led by Charles Manson.

In the podcast, Tarantino said, “Early on, in the pre-production of Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, I flirted around with the idea of … Jennifer Lawrence playing Squeaky.” He further added, “She came down to the house to read the script. So she came down to the house and I gave her the script and told her to go in my living room or go outside by the pool and read it.”
“She read it, and afterward, we talked about it a little bit. She was interested in doing it, but in the end something didn’t work out.”
