ShorePoint to Address Federal HPC Security Challenges at Supercomputing 2025
Advanced computing solutions director Ian Lee to explore security challenges and threats
HERNDON, Va., Nov. 10, 2025 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — ShorePoint Inc., an industry-leading cybersecurity services company protecting federal customers’ critical assets, today announced it will address federal high-performance security challenges at Supercomputing 2025. Known as SC25, the international conference for HPC computing, networking, storage and analysis is scheduled for November 16–21 in St. Louis, Missouri. ShorePoint’s Director of Advanced Computing Solutions, Ian Lee, will share insights at the pre-conference Secure HPC (S-HPC) workshop, facilitate a federal user group discussion and co-lead a conference session on applying Zero Trust principles within HPC centers.
“Zero Trust is transforming how federal agencies think about cybersecurity, and the same principles must extend into high-performance computing environments,” said Ryan McCullough, EVP and Chief Strategy Officer at ShorePoint. “ShorePoint is already helping agencies strengthen their Zero Trust foundations. Extending that experience into HPC systems is the next logical step to protect mission-critical data at scale.”
“Federal HPC systems are among the most powerful tools supporting science and national security, but they’re also complex to secure,” added Lee. “We’re engaging the community to share best practices, identify gaps and drive collective solutions that strengthen the mission.”
