Sundar Pichai tweets “Glad to see the US government announcing an ambitious, yet attainable goal to cut greenhouse gas emissions”
Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google and Alphabet, on Thursday, tweeted in appreciation of the U.S. government as the latter has committed to cut its carbon emission by half the end of this decade.

On the previous day, Pichai tweeted how Google has been consistent for four years in buying renewable energy for its operations.
Pichai termed the step taken by government as “ambitious”. Appraising the government, Pichai further added that Google is doing its own part, as they are “committed” to achieve carbon-free operations by 2030.
