Terry Crews on release of his awaited audio book “Stronger Together”; Says, “The onky way to grow is to try”

Terry Crews is all set to release his new audio book “Stronger Together” which talks about his battle with porn addiction and marriage. In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel he quoted that the book should be called “Mistakes Were Made, Mostly By Me” as they reflect the ups and down of his marriage.

“With porn and alcohol and different things like that, people think it’s a willpower issue, but it’s not. It’s literally a lack of information issue. Because the trick is you think it’s great. Everything works for you until it doesn’t, and that was one of the things I really wanted to get out,” Crews told Kimmel.

Crews said he’s focused on improving himself, but he is bound to mess up again because has a “lot of life left.” “I am focused on just improving, but this is the problem: You’re not allowed to do that. Everything gets you canceled, but I realized the only way to really grow is to try, and make your mistakes on the fly,” Crews said, adding he wants to show people he’s still around despite having made mistakes in the past.

Sgt. Terry Jeffords (Crews) has some lighthearted fun in "Brooklyn Nine-Nine," which premiered in 2013.

“When both of us tell the story at the same time it’s like watching it in 3-D because there’s two different perspectives,” Crews said. “We got to let people know what this is like, that you are stronger together. That you are better off, if you can make it work, try.”
