The Duke and Duchess of Sussex plan to take ‘time off’ after the second child’s birth

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be in baby ecstasy this summer once their second child arrives, who’s a baby girl.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are planning for long maternity and paternity leave too.

“They will both take some proper time off,” a source close to the couple told Vanity Fair. “It will be the summer and they want to make sure they both take their leave so they have some real quality time together once the baby arrives.”

In 2019, when Meghan and Harry’s son- Archie was born the couple couldn’t spend a lot of quality time with him. Just within a week, the Prince flew to the Netherlands for a prior commitment. While during and after her pregnancy, Meghan was editing her issue of British Vogue and working on a fashion collection for Smart Works.

When their daughter arrives, she will be eighth in line to the throne, after Harry’s father Prince Charles, older brother Prince William and his three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, Harry himself, and the older brother Archie.

The duo declared the sex of their baby while having an interview with Oprah Winfrey which was a kind of tell-all.

As per Page Six, Meghan also wants to reportedly give birth in their Montecito, California home. It’s a beautiful setting to give birth to her baby girl too.
