The Hemsworth brothers share a great bond besides their similar looks, with light eyes and beautiful facial features as well as dashing personalities.

Chris being the elder one, born on August 11, 1983, has always dominated the other in fights and arguments, who rose to fame with his brilliant acting skills in ‘Star Trek’ of 2009, and is now known as Marvel Cinematic Universe’s God of Thunder, Thor.

The actor is currently married to veteran actress Elsa Pataky and the couple share three kids together, namely, India Rose, Tristan and Sasha.

#1 Chris and Liam had a deadly fight! 

Liam Hemsworth had opened up on his bullied childhood as the youngest Hemsworth sibling, recalling that his brothers would beat him up, wrap him with blankets and chased at him with air rifles, that made anger boil within him as a stubborn kid that he was, just like his other siblings.

He shared, how once their fight turned into a deadly one, but none ended up hurt by god’s grace.

It started when Chris and Liam were involved in a fight, with the latter being younger had to make use of weapons, for which he threw a knife at the former with full force, but fortunately it reached him with handle first.

 

#2 Chris bagged ‘Thor’ against Liam

The elder Hemsworth took away the role of thunder god ‘Thor’ from his younger sibling, Liam.

Although both the brothers were auditioning for the role, Chris got an upper hand largely due to his brilliant performance in the horror-thriller ‘Cabin In The Woods’.

 

#3 Mentored by Anthony Hopkins

Our ‘Thor’ has had great opportunities to work with some brilliant artists as his co-stars, throughout his acting career, but it seems like Anthony Hopkins is above all, who played his father onscreen as ‘God Odin’, in several Marvel movies.

In an interview, he opened up on how he got attracted to the hammers used by his character ‘Thor’, and even got his hands on five different ones of them, resulting in his own antique collection of fake mythical hammers at home, that unfortunately his kids don’t care about much, except for his youngest, who is fond of them, and loves playing Thor just like his daddy.

 

#5 Wife Elsa gave up her career! 

This one seems to be a true fairytale love, as Hemsworth’s wife Elsa Pataky, who was also an actress, had to give up on her career only for her husband to go on with his.

Not many may know, that Elsa is the popular face as Elena Neves, in the famous franchise ‘Fast and Furious’, also having appeared in various television shows before.

As the two wanted to expand their family and have kids together, the lady dropped acting as they realized that raising kids and maintaining a personal life along with a professional one will cost them a lot.

 

#6 Played Pine’s father in ‘Star Trek’

Before earning name and fame as ‘Thor’ in the Marvel franchise, the actor has starred in yet another popular movie franchise ‘Star Trek’, back in 2009, playing the role of James T. Kirk’s father named George Kirk.

Although Hemsworth auditioned for the lead’s role, he couldn’t secure it and was given away to Chris Pine, as the director found him too tall for the role. He gave him his father’s instead.

Even though his screen time isn’t much great in the movie, his emotional presence and brilliance in acting made him a renowned star.

By the strong and manly personality that he’s got or have built over time, he’s sure to be involved in various sports.
