ViacomCBS channels finally added on Hulu’s live TV service
Hulu, an American subscription video-on-demand television service has finally added
nine new ViacomCBS channels — Comedy Central, BET, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., VH1, CMT, MTV, TV Land, and Paramount Network — as part of its regular live TV service $64.99 per month cost.
Even though the company had announced that it would add the channels of the diversified multinational mass media conglomerate 4 months ago, around January, finally today the customers that pay for its live service would get to enjoy these channels.
Even though the company hasn’t announced any price hikes with its live TV service still costing $64.99, however in order to view other ViacomCBS channels like BETher, MTV2, NickToons, TeenNick, and MTV Classic starting today, customers would have to go through Hulu’s $7.99 per month Entertainment package.
Other ViacomCBS channels — BETher, MTV2, NickToons, TeenNick, and MTV Classic – will also be available for Hulu’s live TV customers starting today, but only through Hulu’s $7.99 per month Entertainment package, which also includes channels like CNBC World, the Cooking Channel, and Discovery Family.
Since Youtube TV raised it’s from $15 per month last summer when it also collaborated with the ViacomCBS’ lineup, there’s a strong possibility for Hulu to also increase its subscription prices in the future to cover costs.
