Why is hashtag ‘Happy Birthday Betty’ trending on Twitter? Have a look

Twitter got blown up with a trending hashtag #happybirthdaybetty after a Twitter user @TerrieRucker1 tweeted about his mother’s birthday hours ago.

This South Carolina democrat took to Twitter asking his followers and people to wish his mother, a 82 year old woman with the name Betty, so that he can make her day memorable.

The tweet went viral within minutes, with over 210 retweet and comments with people showering Betty with their love and wishes. Betty has been alone under house arrest due the pandemic and her son wanted to cheer her up on her special day!
