5 Seconds Of Summer postpones tours due to concerns about safety amid ongoing pandemic

Australian boy band 5 Seconds Of Summer have announced the postponement of their tour dates for 2021.

The band was set to travel through Europe and UK later this year, but “due to government action in certain markets and out of an abundance of caution, the remaining shows this year will no longer be possible,” the band said in a statement.

“As we’ve said before, playing live shows for our fans is what makes us want to be a band. While we’re all disappointed to reschedule these shows, the safety of our fans, touring crew and venue staff takes precedence and we know this is the right decision,” the band said on Instagram.
