Five people died in South Carolina mass shooting
On Wednesday five people died of a mass shooting in South Carolina including a prominent doctor, his wife, and their two grandchildren, an official said.
We observed a suspect following an hours-long manhunt but were not able to identify the man’s name or any other details about him, said The York County Sheriff’s Office.
At Around 4:45 p.m. Deputies responded to a complaint of gunfire on Wednesday at a residence in the 4400 block of Marshall Road in Rock Hill, about 27 miles southwest of Charlotte, the sheriff’s office said. Inside the home, authorities found the bodies of Robert Lesslie, 70, Barbara Lesslie, 69, and their grandchildren.
All died as a result of gunshot wounds, the sheriff’s office said Thursday in a tweet. An unidentified sixth victim was being treated for serious injuries, media reported.
