All Americans, 16 or above, eligible for vaccination: President Joe Biden
Both the President, Biden, and the Vice President, Harris, has announced that all Americans, 16 and above, starting from today itself, are eligible to get the vaccination.
Everyone 16 and older in America is eligible for the shot today. Go and get ‘em, folks.

Earlier, LA had announced that everybody who is 18 or above is eligible for vaccinations and they do not need any prior appointment. The move was made after many vaccine appointments were not fulfilled.
A couple of weeks back the government had halted Johnson & Johnson vaccine as six women had developed rare blood clots after receiving them. Following the company had also delayed their Shipment to Europe.
President today while sharing the “good news” said that they had enough in stock for all Americans. He added that it is required of us to be “protected”.
As of today, every American 16 and older is eligible to receive the vaccine. The President and I urge you to get vaccinated. It will protect you, your loved ones, your neighbors, and your community.

Biden during the start of the month had said that it is important to make every American eligible for vaccine before May 1.
Earlier it was reported that at least 131 million people, or half of the American adults, had received at least 1st dose of the vaccine.
