We must build resilience to avoid the next health crisis, tweets Vice President Kamala Harris
Vice President Kamala Harris on Monday has opened a case in front of the United Nation that now is the time to start preparing for the next global pandemic to avoid its repercussion.
As on Monday, she also tweeted stating, “we must rally the world to prepare for and prevent the next (pandemic).”

Harris’s seconds virtual address to the UN since she her inauguration, comes after U.S. achievement of vaccination the public, while many countries struggle to acquire vaccines.
“We must build resilience, our community needs to be strong enough to lead and innovate during a health crisis,” says Harris. The speech was co-hosted by U.N permanent representatives, Japan, Norway, Argentina, and South Africa.
President Biden’s ambassador to the U.N., Linda Thomas-Greenfield, was also scheduled to deliver remarks at virtual event.
