Heather Alexander shared, “Laying in bed, heard the roar of the ground followed by a powerful shake that jolted my entire house from side to side! 4 seconds of pure anxiety.”
Another reaction by Joanna Adler, who lives in an older home, wrote “Being on the 3rd floor of an almost hundred-year-old building with wood ceiling and concrete walls for the last 20 years, I’m used to amplifying the feeling of earthquakes, But that felt like 4.2, not 2.8!”
J. R Stone also took it to Twitter,
Did you feel the 2.8 magnitude earthquake we just had near Piedmont? I know it’s a low number but I’m already hearing from folks who felt it in Oakland and Berkeley. @abc7newsbayarea pic.twitter.com/HgElE3fq3C
