Nicki Minaj trends after the release of her new mixtape ‘Beam Me Up Scotty’

The rapper queen has took her fans by surprise, announcing a new collaboration with artists Drake and Lil Wayne on their upcoming mixtape ‘Beam Me Up Scotty’.

Nicki had taken to Instagram earlier, to share teasers and give hints at her fans for something new in store that was to be revealed Friday, that is, today.

She had surprised us all by coming live on Instagram, Thursday night, to make this big announcement.

The rapper confirmed that the mixtape would be available for streaming on all major platforms, also including an all new number ‘Seeing Green’, which would also feature Drake and Lil Wayne.

Nicki had shared that it was none other than Drake, who helped her with overcoming her writer’s block and made her feel competitive and motivated yet again, by sending her some new stuff across.

Apart from the new ‘Seeing Green’, the mixtape would also include two new numbers, namely ‘Fractions’ and ‘Crocodile Teeth (Remix)’ featuring Skillibeng.

While in her interview with MTV News in 2009, Nicki had shared that the idea for this project came after her music tour with ‘Young Money’, saying, “It made me hungry. That’s what inspired me and the music for the Beam Me Up Scotty tape — the ‘I Am Music’ tour.”
