Rappers Bow Wow and Soulja Boy go trending on Twitter, ahead of their rap battle announcement

Soulja Boy, originally known as DeAndre Cortez Way, is an American rapper, songwriter, producer and entrepreneur, born on July 28, 1990, in Chicago, Illinois, to parents Tracy and Lisa Way.

The rapper rose to worldwide popularity, with his debut single ‘Crank That’, released in 2007, that hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100.

Bow Wow, also known as Shad Gregory Moss, is an American rapper, actor and a presenter, born on March 9, 1987, in Columbus, Ohio, to parents Alfonso Moss and Teresa Caldwell.

He rose to mainstream recognition as a rapper, with his studio album ‘Wanted’, released in 2005, that gave him a couple of his highest grossing singles, ‘Let Me Hold You’ and ‘Like You’.

It is official that these two best of the rappers would be battling it out in a rap battle, and fans are already excited to see who overrules whom.

The boys would be facing each other in none other than the ‘Verzuz’ series, presented by Swizz Beatz and Timbaland as announced today by Soulja Boy.

The duo is loved by many and are highly praised for their collab on ‘Marco Polo’ and 2016’s ‘Ignorant Shit’.
