AMC stocks dip after they decide to sell 11 million shares

The market value of the company as of now is above $31 billion, after seeing an exponential bump in their stocks in the last few months. The filing made to SEC today said that they will be selling about 11,550,000 shares of the Class A common stock and have highlighted the fact that the markets are volatile and investors should be extremely cautious about it.

“We believe that the recent volatility and our current market prices reflect the market and trading dynamics unrelated to our underlying business, or macro or industry fundamentals, and we do not know how long these dynamics will last. Under the circumstances, we caution you against investing in our Class A common stock, unless you are prepared to incur the risk of losing all or a substantial portion of your investment,” states their SEC filing.
