Pilot killed in a plane crash near Doylestown, Bucks County
In an unfortunate series of events, a small single-engine plane has crashed in a wooded area just behind some homes on Tuesday morning near Doylestown Bucks County killing the pilot. The incident occurred at 10:30 AM when the plane crashed just near the airport area and only the pilot was confirmed to be in the vehicle.
Police, firefighters, and medics came to respond to the 3800 block of Charter Club Drive in Buckingham Township as the view from Chopper 6 showed the damaged red-and-white plane on the ground.
FAA is still further investigating the scene and has said only the pilot was aboard the aircraft, which is a single-engine Vans RV-6A.
