Donald Trump praised about Hitler to John Kelly

Former President Donald Trump said to John Kelly, the second of four White House chiefs of staff in the four-year Trump presidency, during a 2018 visit to Europe marking the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I that “Hitler did a lot of good things.”

“Frankly, We Did Win This Election: The Inside Story of How Trump Lost” is an upcoming book written by kelly which includes this comment.

According to Bender, unnamed sources reported that Kelly “told the president that he was wrong, but Trump was undeterred,” and the commander-in-chief cited Germany’s economic recovery during the 1930s as a positive development under Hitler.
