Airline business suffers huge loss due to Pandemic

In the year 2020, the worst affected business is Travel and Tourism which includes airline commerce.

It will take a year and more for airlines to get back on the runway if airway executives are to be believed. For United Airlines It was a year of going through hell. Delta Air Lines had the toughest year in its history.   It was the most challenging year for American Airlines.

The airline industry is not sure about when this setback will bounce back.

Though a few months back, Flights are taking off relieving airlines business its is much worse compared to the business prior to 2020.

Tourists and people visiting family and friends typically take up most of the seats on planes, but airlines rely disproportionately on revenue from corporate travelers in the front of the cabin.

According to Airlines for America, Before the pandemic, business travel accounted for about 30 percent of trips but 40 to 50 percent of passenger revenue. Well, those customers aren’t expected to return in great numbers any time soon.
