As a ‘thank you’ to it employees, Walmart closes for Thanksgiving

Walmart, at all of its stores in the US, will not be open for this year’s Thanksgiving to commemorate the dedication of their employees- working during the pandemic. The stores were not open for Thanksgiving the last year either because the Coronavirus was at large.

“Our people make the difference, and that’s never been more true than it is right now. Closing our stores on Thanksgiving Day is one way we’re saying ‘thank you’ to our teams for their dedication and hard work this year. We hope everyone will take the opportunity to be with their loved ones during what’s always a special time,” read their announcement.
